This is a Superb Black and White Press Photo approx 9" x 7" which has been Boldly Hand Signed by Sir George Oswald Browning Allen better known as " Gubby " Allen. He was an Australian born English Cricketer renowned as both a bowler and a batsman. He Played in 25 Tests and was Captain in 11 of them.He strongly disagreed with Douglas Jardine's Tactics in the infamous Bodyline series. He was Knighted for his Services to Cricket in 1986 - Died in 1989.
