This is an In Person Signed White Card 5.5" x 3.5" by the former National Hunt Jockey who rode Red Marauder to Victory in the Grand National in 2001.
DOB: 10.07.1965 Place of birth: Andover Main trainer: Norman Mason National win: Red Marauder (2001) 2000-2001 wins: 25 1999-2000 wins: 23 Richard Guest was the oldest jockey in last year's Grand National, and at the end he was the happiest. Then aged 35, he guided Red Marauder home through the mud for a famous victory. The win was made all the more sweet as Guest is effectively also the trainer of the 11-year-old, owned by Norman Mason. Just three years earlier, Guest announced his retirement from racing after being found guilty of the non-triers' rule - his third offence of the season. However, he soon changed his mind and National glory was the ultimate reward. Guest has a good record over the National fences, finishing second on Romany King (1992) and fifth aboard Into the Red (1995).
